Questions, concerns about testosterone use will be addressed in Town Hall

Last September, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) convened an advisory panel to address the agency's concerns about the ever-increasing use of testosterone. According to the FDA, testosterone prescriptions increased from 1.3 million in 2010 to 2.3 million in 2013. Read more

Recent data alter treatment recommendations for interstitial cystitis

In recent years several studies have examined the epidemiology and treatment options for interstitial cystitis. The changing literature landscape demanded a review to ensure AUA's Guideline on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Interstitial Cystitis (IC)/Bladder Pain Syndrome (BPS), which was published in 2011, remained up to date. Read more
AUA's national quality registry begins extracting data, continues to enroll sites

The first national registry focused on urological diseases continues to grow as it approaches the first anniversary of its launch. The AUA QUAlity (AQUA) Registry was designed to systematically collect data on urology practice and outcomes from clinicians across the country. Read more
